‘Guadeloupe and Azerbaijan Rhythms and Dances’ Concert Held at Green Theatre

Baku: The concert program titled ‘Guadeloupe and Azerbaijan rhythms and dances’ was held at the Green Theatre, APA reports. The event showcased a blend of cultural performances, highlighting the unique musical and dance traditions of both Guadeloupe and Azerbaijan.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Abbas Abbasov, the Executive Director of the Baku Initiative Group, welcomed the attendees and expressed his appreciation for their participation in this cultural gathering. Abbasov emphasized the importance of such events in promoting cultural exchange and understanding between different nations.

Jean-Jacob Bisep, the national coordinator of the Guadeloupe section of FID, conveyed his gratitude to the Baku Initiative Group for providing a platform to introduce Guadeloupe’s cultural heritage in Azerbaijan. He highlighted the significance of international cultural collaborations in fostering mutual respect and appreciation.

The concert featured captivating performances by the ‘Natiq’ rhythm group from Azerbaijan, the ‘Mirvari’ dance ensemble, and the ‘Lakou veranda’ group representing Guadeloupe. These performances aimed to celebrate and share the rich cultural histories of both regions through music and dance.
