Number of People Poisoned by Doner in Tovuz Rises to 28

Tovuz: The number of individuals poisoned by consuming doner in the Tovuz district has surged to 28. This information comes from a report by APA’s local bureau, highlighting the severity of the situation.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the incident initially saw 14 people, comprising seven men and seven women, being admitted to the Emergency and Urgent Medical Care Department of Tovuz District Central Hospital. These individuals were hospitalized around 16:55 on suspicion of poisoning.

Medical officials have noted that all patients have received essential medical services, with their conditions being assessed as moderate to severe. They are currently undergoing treatment in the hospital’s Emergency and Urgent Medical Care Department.

The names of the poisoned individuals have been identified. Among those affected are Ali Aliyev (born 2022), Aysu Jafarova (2007), Khatira Musayeva (1979), Ruslan Emiraslanov (2008), Ravan Eyvazov (2017), Ramal Eyvazov (2013), Dashdemir Eyvazov (1983), Punhana Alekberli (2019), Emil Kerimli (2016), Elif Kerimli (2018), Shahane Aliyeva (1997), Aygun Huseynova (2006), and one more individual.

The incident has drawn significant attention, especially as minors are among those affected. The situation remains under close monitoring as medical professionals continue to provide necessary care to the patients.
