Baku: A hand grenade, identified as an F-1 model suitable for combat use, was discovered in the Khatai district of Baku. The Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES) reported that the “112” hotline received a notification regarding the presence of ammunition in the area.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the special rapid response group from the MES’s Special Risky Rescue Service (SRRS) was dispatched to the location immediately upon receiving the information. The team, in coordination with law enforcement officers, implemented necessary security measures to secure the site.

During their inspection, the SRRS confirmed the ammunition as an F-1 hand grenade, which was then carefully removed by specialists for safe neutralization. The SRRS conducted a thorough search of the scene and surrounding areas, ensuring no other dangerous or suspicious items were present.
