Hanoi: The Azerbaijan-Vietnam Business Forum and the first meeting of the Azerbaijan-Vietnam Joint Business Council are set to take place on 16 June, closely followed by the 3rd session of the Azerbaijan-Vietnam Intergovernmental Commission on Economic-Trade and Scientific-Technology Cooperation on 17 June. These events, as announced by the Ministry of Energy, aim to enhance the collaborative efforts of the two nations across multiple sectors.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the meetings will focus on fostering cooperation in areas such as trade, energy, culture, agriculture, tourism, transport, and education. Participants will engage in discussions about the current status of economic and trade relations, as well as explore potential investment opportunities.
The Intergovernmental Commission will be co-chaired by the Minister of Energy of Azerbaijan, Parviz Shahbazov, and the Minister of Industry and Trade of Vietnam, Nguyen Hong Dien. Their leadership is expected to steer the discussions towards strengthening bilateral ties and identifying avenues for mutual growth.
