Baku: Caroline Ramaekers, Head of the Eastern Europe and Central Asia Division at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands, concluded her visit to Azerbaijan on 13-14 November. Throughout her visit, she met with government institutions and public authorities to discuss political dialogue, bilateral relations, and opportunities to deepen cooperation between the Netherlands and Azerbaijan.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Caroline Ramaekers engaged in meetings with Hikmet Hajiyev, Assistant to the President of Azerbaijan, and Anar Ajamov, Acting Director of the Department for Europe at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan. She also held a meeting with AZPROMO, where discussions focused on investment opportunities for Dutch companies, the local business environment, and the export potential of Azerbaijani products to the Netherlands. Further exchanges took place with the AIR Center and the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication, addressing regional political and economic developments and the Middle Corridor. Her visit to ADA University included discussions with students and faculty.

As part of her cultural itinerary, Ramaekers toured central Baku and the Old City, exploring its heritage, architecture, and sampling Azerbaijani tea. The visit concluded with a networking reception hosted by the Embassy, where partners and stakeholders gathered to exchange perspectives.
