Baku: The event to mark Eid al-Fitr was held on April 1 with the support of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, APA reports. The occasion brought together families of martyrs to honor their sacrifice and celebrate the festive holiday.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the event included recitations of verses from the Holy Quran and prayers for the souls of the martyrs. This solemn remembrance was part of the broader effort to provide comfort and recognition to the families who have endured loss.

The event was organized within the framework of the ‘My Son is a Hero’ project by ‘Fire Land Group.’ It received support from both the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and the Ministry of Culture. Attendees were also treated to performances by prominent Azerbaijani artists, adding cultural richness to the commemorative gathering.
