Baku: Hikmat Hajiyev, Assistant of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan and Head of Foreign Policy Affairs Department of the Presidential Administration, announced on his X account that the World Urban Forum 13 (WUF13) has commenced with a large-scale press conference, despite challenges posed by climate change and unpredictable weather.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Hajiyev emphasized the significance of the event, noting that the future contours of the global urban agenda are being shaped in Azerbaijan. He highlighted the scale of the forum, describing it as the largest ever WUF, with participation exceeding 40,000 individuals.
