Hikmet Hajiyev Highlights Strategic Importance of Aghband-Kelaleh Bridge in Zangezur Corridor

Baku: Hikmet Hajiyev, Assistant to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan and Head of the Department of Foreign Policy Affairs of the Presidential Administration, has described the Aghband-Kelaleh Bridge in the Zangezur Corridor as a significant international junction. According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Hajiyev emphasized the strategic importance of the bridge over the Araz River, identifying it as a pivotal hub that intersects major international transport routes. The bridge connects the East-West route from Shanghai to London and the North-South and Southwest routes, which link the Indian Ocean with the North Sea, and the Persian Gulf with the Black Sea.
