Baku: A humanitarian aid convoy dispatched from Russia has successfully crossed the Azerbaijani border and is currently en route to Iran, APA's regional correspondent reports. This convoy, consisting of seven trucks, is carrying a substantial 140 tons of food products aimed at providing relief to those in need.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, this marks the third humanitarian aid convoy sent from Russia to Iran. Upon reaching the "South Astara" state border checkpoint, the convoy underwent customs inspection and is now proceeding towards Iran through the North-South corridor.
Additionally, it was reported that a separate humanitarian cargo train comprising 31 wagons and transporting over 300 tons of aid was dispatched to Iran from the Astara railway border crossing point last night.
