Hungary Invited to Showcase at Caspian Agro 2026

Baku: Azerbaijan's Minister of Agriculture Majnun Mammadov has extended an invitation to Hungary to take part in Caspian Agro 2026 with a national pavilion. The invitation was extended during a meeting with Hungarian Ambassador to Azerbaijan Tam¡s Torma, Executive Head of the Representation Office of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) in Budapest Bal¡zs Hendrich, and Operations Director of the Budapest Drought Prevention Institute L¡szl³ -rlos.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the dialogue between the Azerbaijani and Hungarian officials highlighted the robust relations between the two nations, particularly in the context of cooperation within the OTS framework. The meeting underscored a mutual interest in expanding agricultural cooperation, with both parties eager to explore opportunities for collaboration.

The discussions centered on enhancing bilateral cooperation in agriculture, with a focus on increasing trade turnover and transferring advanced technologies. The meeting also covered potential joint projects in climate, water, and soil management, along with research and educational exchange programs aimed at fostering further collaboration.

An extensive exchange of views on issues of mutual interest rounded out the meeting, signaling a promising future for Azerbaijan-Hungary agricultural partnerships.
