Tashkent: President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev participated online in an inauguration and groundbreaking ceremony for Azerbaijani projects in Uzbekistan. This event, held on August 23, marked a significant collaboration between the two nations.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the projects inaugurated included Davr Bank, which is part of the International Bank of Azerbaijan, a gypsum plant established by Matanat-A, and two Landau STEAM schools from the Landau Education Group. These projects highlight the growing economic and educational ties between Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan.

The ceremony also featured groundbreaking events for several upcoming projects. These include five new SOCAR filling stations, the Sea Breeze Uzbekistan residential and recreational complex developed by Agalarov Development, and the Baku City residential complex by TuranAZ. Additionally, a beneficiation plant for processing silver-bearing ore under the Sur Gold and Silver Project, as well as fruit orchards by Gold Fresh Fruits, are set to be established, further strengthening the cooperative relationship between the two countries.
