Baku: As a result of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev's purposeful political course, it became possible to restore the country's territorial integrity, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev said in a joint press statement with President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, APA's special correspondent reports.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the President of Uzbekistan highlighted the Azerbaijani President's strategic political course. Mirziyoyev noted that it was through this policy that the restoration of Azerbaijan's territorial integrity was achieved, bringing about long-awaited peace and stability. He observed the revival of the ancient land of Karabakh, where active development of social infrastructure, job creation, and enterprise establishment are underway. Mirziyoyev expressed his satisfaction upon witnessing the ongoing progress in Karabakh, emphasizing efforts to restore a peaceful and prosperous life for the residents.

Mirziyoyev emphasized the strong alliance between Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan, describing Azerbaijan as a reliable ally, strategic partner, and brotherly state. He underscored the shared historical roots, friendship, spiritual values, and cultural traditions that form the foundation of their relationship, making it resilient to external influences.
