Baku: President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev concluded his state visit to Kyrgyzstan, marked by a series of high-profile events aimed at strengthening bilateral relations between the two nations. The visit featured an official welcome ceremony, a one-on-one meeting with the President of Kyrgyzstan, and the exchange of signed documents between Azerbaijan and Kyrgyzstan.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the 3rd meeting of the Interstate Council of Azerbaijan and Kyrgyzstan was held in Cholpon, further solidifying the cooperative efforts between the two countries. The state visit also included a state banquet held in honor of President Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva, as well as an award ceremony for the presidents of both countries.

In addition, both presidents made press statements, emphasizing their commitment to enhancing the strategic partnership. An informal meeting of heads of state from Azerbaijan and Central Asian countries was also conducted, fostering regional cooperation and dialogue.

The visit was capped off with the inauguration of the Baku Resort and Spa Hotel on the shores of Issyk-Kul Lake, a symbol of the growing economic and tourism ties between Azerbaijan and Kyrgyzstan. First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva also visited the 'Altyn Balalyk' Health and Rehabilitation Center in Cholpon-Ata, highlighting the cultural and humanitarian aspects of the visit.

President Ilham Aliyev's visit to Kyrgyzstan underscores Azerbaijan's commitment to fostering mutually beneficial cooperation based on equality and mutual respect, as stated by Sahiba Gafarova, a key figure in Azerbaijani foreign relations.
