Baku: The International Monetary Fund (IMF) has predicted that the foreign exchange reserves of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) will amount to 11.9 billion US dollars by the end of this year, APA-Economics reports, citing IMF.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the Fund believes that in 2026, the CBA’s foreign exchange reserves will decrease to 11.7 billion US dollars, and by the end of 2030, to 9.6 billion US dollars.
Note that as of October 1 this year, the CBA’s reserves amounted to 11.31 billion dollars. This means that, according to the IMF’s forecast, the CBA may increase its reserves by about 600 million dollars in the coming months.
