Baku: The International Monetary Fund (IMF) has forecast Azerbaijan's GDP growth at 2.2% in 2026 and 2.5% in 2027, APA-Economics reports, citing the IMF's report.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the Fund increased its forecast for 2026 by 0.1 percentage points compared to its February assessments, while leaving the 2027 forecast unchanged. The revisions indicate a marginal uptick in economic expectations for 2026.
As per the Fund's estimates, the average annual growth of Azerbaijan's economy over the next two years will amount to 2.35%. This forecast offers insights into the country's economic trajectory as it navigates future economic conditions.
