IMF Updates Economic Growth Forecast for Azerbaijan

Baku: The International Monetary Fund (IMF) has updated its economic growth forecast for Azerbaijan, APA-Economics reports. The Fund has set real GDP growth at 3% for 2025 and 2.5% for 2026, which is 0.5 percentage points lower than its previous forecast.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the International Monetary Fund’s earlier economic growth forecast for 2025-2026 stood at 3.5% and 2.5%, respectively. Despite the downward revision, the IMF anticipates that economic growth in Azerbaijan will be about 2.5% in 2030.

Notably, after these adjustments, this remains the most positive economic growth forecast among foreign financial institutions.
