Independence Day Marked by Achievements in Azerbaijan: GUAM Secretary General Praises Progress

Baku: On the occasion of Azerbaijan's Independence Day, Altai Efendiev, Secretary General of the Organization for Democracy and Economic Development - GUAM, extended heartfelt congratulations to the Azerbaijani people and their leadership. He highlighted the nation's ongoing progress toward independence, sovereignty, and national identity preservation.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, Efendiev emphasized the remarkable advancements Azerbaijan has achieved under its current leadership. These include rehabilitation efforts in liberated areas and the Great Return program, which facilitates displaced populations' return to their native lands, contributing to the Garabagh region's economic revival.
