Baku: President of the Republic of India Droupadi Murmu has addressed a congratulatory letter to President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev on the occasion of Independence Day, APA reports.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the letter from President Murmu extends warm greetings and felicitations on behalf of the Indian government and its people to Azerbaijan. President Murmu emphasized the historical and cultural ties shared between India and Azerbaijan and highlighted the potential for enhancing economic and commercial linkages, as well as people-to-people contact.
The letter further conveyed President Murmu's best wishes for President Aliyev's good health and wellbeing, along with the progress and prosperity of the Azerbaijani people. The Indian President concluded the letter by offering assurances of her highest consideration to President Aliyev.
