In January-July of 2023, industrial enterprises and individual entrepreneurs operating in this field manufactured products worth 39,8 billion manats, down 1,6 from the previous year, APA reports citing the State Statistical Committee.

During the reporting period, production in the oil-gas sector fell by 2,4%, and the non-oil and gas sector increased by 6,5%.

Some 69,1% of industrial products were formed in the mining sector, 25,7% in the processing sector, 4,4% in the production, distribution, and supply of electricity, gas, and steam, and 0.8% in the water supply, water treatment, and waste processing sectors. Share of the non-state sector in industry was 85,4%.

91.7% of the total production was created due to the production of industrial products, 8.3% was due to the provision of industrial services.
