Baku: Panel sessions of the International Bakuvi Conference dedicated to Sayyid Yahya Bakuvi were held as part of the 7th meeting of the heads of Muslim Religious Administrations of the member states of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS), APA reports. The event brought together notable religious leaders and scholars to discuss pressing issues within the Muslim communities of the Turkic world.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Ravan Hasanov, a representative from the Center for Analysis of International Relations and Multiculturalism, addressed the assembly, emphasizing the significance of gathering religious leaders from the Turkic world. He highlighted the conference as a crucial platform for fostering dialogue and collaboration among the member states.

Musa Serdar Celebi, the Director General of the European Turkic-Islamic Union, underscored the necessity of unity and solidarity within the Organization of Turkic States. He argued for the importance of standing together to achieve progress and success within the organization, pointing out that such cooperation is vital for the future development of the member countries.

The conference also featured Ayatollah Sheikh Mohammad Reza Mustafa Manezhari Naini from Iran's Qom Seminary, who proposed the creation of a comprehensive encyclopedia on Islamic science in Azerbaijan. He remarked on Azerbaijan's role in preserving significant Islamic figures and its contribution to Islamic spirituality, noting the country's cultural and historical importance.

During the event, the heads of Muslim religious administrations from the Turkic world engaged in discussions, sharing their insights and experiences. They explored the role of religious institutions in contemporary societies, aiming to strengthen their influence and address the challenges faced by Muslim communities today.
