Baku: With the support of the Ministry of Science and Education and the organization of the ‘STEAM Azerbaijan’ project, the International STEAM Azerbaijan Festival (SAF 2025) will take place at the Baku Expo Center from November 17 to 19, the Ministry of Science and Education told APA. The preparation process for the festival is in its final stage, with participating teams readying their projects for the final stage of the competition.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the festival, now in its fifth edition, will feature competitions in 16 main and 2 subcategories. Over 5,000 candidates registered for SAF 2025, and 1,415 participants qualified for the final stage. This includes 212 representatives from 19 foreign countries, with a total of 22 countries participating, including Azerbaijan.
The festival aims to promote STEAM-based education, develop 21st-century skills among learners, identify creative young people, and support the development of innovative projects and solutions. The STEAM model integrates the teaching of science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics.
