Baku: An interview with AZERTAC special correspondent Khatayi Azizov on Azerbaijan-Georgia relations has been published on the Georgian portal qafqazturk.com. The interview, published in the Azerbaijani and Georgian languages, reviews the history of Azerbaijan-Georgia relations and notes that, following the return to power of National Leader Heydar Aliyev, ties between the two countries entered a new stage of development, and as a result of President Ilham Aliyev’s purposeful policy, have risen to the level of a strategic partnership.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the interview also highlights the importance of large-scale projects implemented on Azerbaijan’s initiative with the joint participation of Georgia and Trkiye, as well as the prospects of the Zangezur corridor.
