Baku: Investments in Azerbaijan's oil and gas sector reached AZN 1,525.9 million in the first quarter of this year.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, this marks a 44.6% increase compared to the same period last year, highlighting significant growth in the sector.

The data reveals that despite the growth in investments this year, there was a 10.3% decrease in the volume of investments in the oil and gas sector compared to 2024. Last year, the sector saw investments totaling AZN 5,339.6 million. This fluctuation in investment trends reflects ongoing changes and developments within Azerbaijan's energy sector.
