Baku: A telephone conversation took place on March 15 between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Romania, Oana-Silvia Toiu, the MFA told APA. The sides discussed the current state and prospects for the development of bilateral and multilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Romania during the phone call.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, they exchanged views on expanding cooperation in the fields of energy, transport, and communications. The importance of strategic projects implemented with Azerbaijan's participation was emphasized. The ministers also touched upon regional and international issues of mutual interest, emphasizing the importance of strengthening cooperation, as well as ensuring security and stability.
During the conversation, the current state and prospects of relations between Azerbaijan and the European Union were also reviewed in a broader context.
