Iran to Send Over 29,000 Pilgrims to Saudi Arabia for Hajj Pilgrimage

Tehran: Iran's Supreme National Security Council has allowed pilgrims to participate in this year's Hajj pilgrimage, the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization told APA's Tehran bureau.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, within this framework, the first group of pilgrims will be sent to Medina at the beginning of next week. It was noted that members of the staff involved in organizing the Hajj pilgrimage were granted visas earlier, and some of them have already departed for Saudi Arabia.

This year, it is planned for more than 29,000 pilgrims from Iran to participate in the Hajj pilgrimage.
