Baku: Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian recently made a phone call to Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, expressing gratitude for Azerbaijan's humanitarian aid to Iran.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, President Pezeshkian thanked President Aliyev for the support provided by Azerbaijan. President Aliyev assured that Azerbaijan's humanitarian assistance would continue, with the next shipment scheduled to be sent soon.

The Azerbaijani leader also expressed concern over the escalating situation in Iran, offering condolences for the loss of Iranian lives and expressing hope for a swift resolution to the ongoing conflict. Both presidents emphasized the importance of achieving regional peace promptly.
