Iranian President Expresses Gratitude to Azerbaijan During Anniversary Speech

Tehran: The President of Iran, Masoud Pezeshkian, has expressed gratitude to Azerbaijan, APA reports. Pezeshkian made the remarks while addressing the public during a march marking the 47th anniversary of the victory of the Islamic Revolution. He emphasized the importance of fostering sincere and brotherly relations with neighboring countries, as directed by the Leader of the Revolution. He highlighted that these neighboring countries, being Muslim states and friendly nations, are crucial for strengthening bilateral ties.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Pezeshkian acknowledged the support from neighboring countries when Iran faced external threats. He noted that these countries reached out to express their concerns and solidarity with Iran. Specifically, he expressed gratitude to Azerbaijan and its President, along with the leaders of Turkey and the foreign minister.

Pezeshkian further extended his appreciation to other countries in the region, including Qatar, the UAE, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, and Egypt. He recognized their efforts in encouraging diplomatic solutions to challenges faced by Iran. The Iranian President underscored the value of these countries' concerns and their role in promoting peaceful resolutions.
