Baku: Iranian Navy personnel and vessels, which were in Azerbaijan to participate in the AZIREX-2025 joint search and rescue exercise, have departed from Baku port. The Ministry of Defense announced this development to APA.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the Iranian contingent was involved in the AZIREX-2025 exercise, which is a collaborative effort between the participating nations to enhance maritime search and rescue operations. The exercise aimed to strengthen cooperation and coordination in emergency situations at sea. The departure of the Iranian vessels marks the conclusion of their participation in this year’s drill.
