Iran’s Ambassador Thanks Azerbaijan for Humanitarian Aid

Baku: Iran's Ambassador to Azerbaijan, Mojtaba Demirchilou, expressed gratitude to Azerbaijan for its humanitarian aid, marking the second such aid sent by Azerbaijan to Iran.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the ambassador praised both the Azerbaijani government and its people for their support, stating, "Azerbaijan has shown attention to Iran in such a situation and has helped the brothers and sisters there." He emphasized that the aid reflects the shared cultural ties between the two nations, highlighting the importance of mutual assistance during challenging times.

Demirchilou noted that the timing of the aid coincides with the approach of Ramadan and the Novruz holiday, underscoring its significance. He described the provision of assistance during this period as a positive step, reinforcing the longstanding cultural and humanitarian bonds between Iran and Azerbaijan.
