Baku – In a joint press statement with President Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan, Iraqi President Abdullatif Jamal Rashid expressed support for Azerbaijan’s efforts to achieve peace and stability.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, President Rashid congratulated Azerbaijan on its progress and extended best wishes for the finalization of its agreement with Armenia.

The President of Iraq emphasized the importance of resolving conflicts through dialogue, understanding, and cooperation. He stressed that war and conflicts only worsen situations, underscoring the need for peaceful solutions to problems.
