Baku – During a joint press statement with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, President of Iraq Abdullatif Jamal Rashid spoke about the ongoing conflict in the Middle East concerning Palestinian rights. As reported by APA, President Rashid expressed Iraq’s firm support for the Palestinian cause.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Iraq’s stance on the Palestinian issue is unequivocal, advocating for the rights of Palestinians in the West Bank, Gaza, and elsewhere. He emphasized the importance of recognizing Palestine as a state for ensuring peace and stability in the region. Rashid condemned the recent actions in Gaza, including attacks on civilians and destruction of essential infrastructure. He expressed hope for a swift resolution to the crisis and the establishment of Palestinian rights in their homeland.
