Irpin City Revives Education and Healthcare with Azerbaijani Support

Irpin: The Mayor of Irpin city has expressed gratitude for the significant support provided by the Azerbaijani state, which has enabled the resumption of operations at the Irpin 'Linguist' lyceum and the city polyclinic. The announcement was made during an event themed 'The Road from Urbicide to Post-Conflict Reconstruction,' part of the 13th Session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13).

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, Angela Makeeva, Secretary of Ukraine's Irpin City Council and Acting Mayor, highlighted Azerbaijan's special place in the heart of the city. She mentioned that the memory of Zarifa Aliyeva is cherished in Irpin, evidenced by a park and a school named after her. Notably, this school is the only educational institution in Ukraine where children have the opportunity to learn the Azerbaijani language.
