Baku: The Islamic Development Bank has made a significant investment in Azerbaijan, financing 77 projects with a total of $1.3 billion. This was revealed by Areef Suleman, the Chief Economist of the Islamic Development Bank Group, according to APA reports.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Suleman highlighted that the majority of these investments have been directed towards the energy sector. He noted that while energy remains a primary focus, agriculture and other sectors are also gaining attention. Suleman assured that the bank would continue to support Azerbaijan in these areas, as it does with other partner countries.
