Baku: 'We want to invest in Azerbaijan,' said Minister of Foreign Affairs of the State of Israel, Gideon Sa'ar, during a joint press conference with Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Jeyhun Bayramov.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Sa'ar highlighted the significance of energy cooperation between the two nations. He mentioned that SOCAR, the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic, has acquired a 10% stake from an Israeli company. Sa'ar emphasized that this acquisition serves as a testament to the trust and the ongoing advancement of bilateral relations. He also noted that the Jewish community has historically lived peacefully in Azerbaijan and continues to do so.
