Baku: Italy is proud to participate in this initiative together with Azerbaijan, stated President of Italy Sergio Mattarella during the inauguration of the first campus of the Italy-Azerbaijan University in Baku.

According to Trend News Agency, President Mattarella emphasized the importance of this collaboration at the international level, highlighting the deepening and development of cooperation in educating talented youth. He noted that despite the current international situation marked by conflicts, the collaboration extends beyond economic and industrial spheres to include cultural and youth education initiatives. President Mattarella underlined that humanity should continue along this path, as young people will be the ones to lead humanity forward. The President remarked on the extensive work done at the global level, stressing that challenges cannot be met without advancing culture, education, and research. He praised the Italy-Azerbaijan University for its commitment to this endeavor and its role in fostering cooperation.
