Baku: 'During its first year of operation, the Center for Media Content Development under the Administration of the President of Uzbekistan has implemented a number of projects aimed at developing the media industry and improving the quality of content,' Jahongir Abdurakhmonov, Deputy Chairman of the Center for Media Content Development under the Administration of the President of Uzbekistan, told Azerbaijani journalists.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the center's objective is not to regulate the media sector, but to stimulate growth and foster conditions for producing high-quality, objective content that meets international standards. Jahongir Abdurakhmonov also noted that Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan are already implementing several joint projects in the fields of television and cinema.
The Deputy Chairman emphasized that the two countries also maintain active media collaboration within the framework of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS), adding agreements have been reached on the exchange of experience with Azerbaijani colleagues. According to him, reciprocal visits by heads of state contribute to strengthening bilateral ties.
