Baku: Azerbaijan's Minister of Foreign Affairs, Jeyhun Bayramov, emphasized the importance of reconstruction projects in fostering connectivity between Asia and Europe. Speaking at the 'Cities at the Heart of Connectivity: Urban Reconstruction and Regional Cooperation' event during the 13th Session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13), Bayramov highlighted the role of these projects in establishing new links between industrial zones across various regions and restoring economic opportunities. He noted that these efforts are pivotal in shaping the conditions for long-term peace and cooperation.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, Bayramov elaborated on the integration of reconstruction areas into broader regional and international economic systems through new transport corridors, railways, highways, energy infrastructure, and digital networks. These investments not only enhance mobility, trade, investment, tourism, and employment but also strengthen regional interdependence and long-term stability.
