Kapital Bank and Baku State University Forge Strategic Partnership

Baku: A memorandum of cooperation has been signed between the country's first bank, Kapital Bank, and Azerbaijan's first university, Baku State University. With this agreement, Kapital Bank has laid the foundation for another strategic partnership with a higher education institution. The signing ceremony was attended by Board Member and First Deputy Chairman of the Board of Kapital Bank Javid Mirzayev and rector of Baku State University Elchin Babayev.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, Javid Mirzayev described the cooperation as a historic milestone. He emphasized the importance of formally elevating the partnership with Baku State University to a broader level, highlighting that supporting education is one of Kapital Bank's key corporate social responsibility pillars. Mirzayev noted that such partnerships enable students to gain practical knowledge and skills essential for their careers, while the bank benefits from engaging with young professionals ready for the modern corporate environment. Currently, 748 graduates of Baku State University are employed at the bank, with 68 in managerial positions, demonstrating the success of BSU graduates in the financial sector. Mirzayev expressed confidence in the synergy between BSU's educational methodology and Kapital Bank's practical experience as a platform for youth development.

Rector Elchin Babayev highlighted the positive impact of this cooperation on preparing students for the labor market. He stated that strengthening ties between universities, employers, and business entities is a key priority for the university. The partnership, which includes experience sharing and training sessions by the bank's staff, aims to create new opportunities for students to secure stable positions in a competitive market.

Following the signing ceremony, the 'Kapital Bank' room at Baku State University was inaugurated. The space, equipped with modern technologies, is intended to enhance the practical value of the partnership. Bank employees who are BSU graduates shared their impressions, underscoring the initiative's significance.
