Shusha: On July 17, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov visited the Jidir Duzu plain in Shusha. During this visit, a special presentation of Karabakh horses was held at the site, showcasing the significance of these horses in the region.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, President Ilham Aliyev gifted a Karabakh horse named ‘Dostlug’, which translates to ‘Friendship’, to Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov. This gesture signifies a token of goodwill and strengthens the ties between Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan. The presentation of the horse took place in the historical and cultural setting of Jidir Duzu, highlighting the heritage and diplomatic relations between the two nations.
