Kars and Aghdam to Become Sister Cities

Kars: Kars and Aghdam will soon become sister cities, as announced by Zamin Aliyev, Azerbaijan's Consul General in Kars. The initiative aims to strengthen ties and foster collaboration between the two cities.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the possibility of opening Azerbaijan Trade Houses in Kars and Igdir is also under consideration. This development is part of a broader effort to establish sister-city relationships to create a bridge between cities in Trkiye and Azerbaijan. The Consulate General is actively working on fortifying relations with the cities within its jurisdiction.

Sister-city relations have previously been established between Erzurum and Shusha. The planned sister-city relationship between Kars and Aghdam is expected to further enhance cooperation between Azerbaijan and Trkiye. The Consul General expressed confidence that such ties contribute significantly to the partnership between the two nations.
