Baku - The Ojag International Cup in Baku has been a successful and inspiring event for young Kazakh athletes, Elnura Kozhakhmetova and Ayaulym Tanatar, pupils of the Grand Club in Pavlodar, Kazakhstan, as they shared with Trend. The athletes highlighted the warm support of spectators as a key motivator in their performances.
According to Trend News Agency, Elnura Kozhakhmetova won a bronze medal in the hoop exercise among gymnasts born in 2014 (group A), while Ayaulym Tanatar secured two bronze medals in the all-around and ball programs and a silver medal in the club exercise. The athletes expressed their appreciation for the conditions, preparation time, and the solemnity of the award ceremony. Tanatar also noted the prestige of performing at the National Gymnastics Arena in Baku, a venue known for hosting world-class rhythmic gymnastics events. The 2nd Ojag International Cup, which took place from November 10 to 12, featured 325 individual gymnasts and 21 group exercise teams from 14 countries.
