Kazakhstan Explores Aviation Fuel Imports From Azerbaijan, China, and Turkmenistan

Astana: Kazakhstan may begin importing aviation fuel from China, Turkmenistan, and Azerbaijan, as announced by Kazakhstan's Minister of Energy, Yerlan Akkenzhenov.

According to Azeri-Press Nws Aency, Akkenzhenov revealed that the Ministry of Energy is exploring multiple options to secure aviation fuel from international sources. He stated, "We have some traders importing from the People's Republic of China. We are considering importing aviation fuel from Turkmenistan, as well as from neighboring countries such as Azerbaijan."

Akkenzhenov also mentioned that in addition to these nearby countries, Kazakhstan is evaluating the feasibility of sourcing aviation fuel from more distant locations, as part of their broader strategy to diversify supply chains and ensure fuel availability.
