Nairobi: On behalf of the Government and People of the Republic of Kenya, President William Samoei Ruto extended warm congratulations to the people of Azerbaijan on the occasion of their country's 108th anniversary of independence. This occasion marks a significant milestone in Azerbaijan's journey towards freedom and national unity.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, President Ruto expressed his commitment to strengthening the partnership between Kenya and Azerbaijan. He commended the Azerbaijani leadership for successfully hosting the 13th Session of the World Urban Forum. President Ruto expressed confidence that the outcomes of the Forum would significantly contribute to achieving Sustainable Development Goal 11, which focuses on making cities inclusive, safe, resilient, and sustainable.

President Ruto also highlighted the importance of the bilateral engagements held during his visit to Azerbaijan. He noted that these discussions would serve as a catalyst for deepening the relations between the two nations. In his message, he wished continued good health, peace, and prosperity for the people of Azerbaijan and assured them of his highest consideration and esteem.
