Khankandi: The memory of the victims of the Khojaly tragedy was commemorated in Khankandi, APA reports. A memorial event was held in the city of Khankandi, Aghdara, and Khojaly districts in connection with the 33rd anniversary of the Khojaly genocide. The event was jointly organized by the Special Representation of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan and Garabagh University.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the ceremony began with the playing of the national anthem and a minute of silence in memory of the martyrs. Khojaly witnesses and relatives of the Khojaly martyrs spoke about the night of the genocide. Video clips prepared on the Khojaly genocide were also screened at the memorial ceremony.
