Baku: The kindergarten-nursery named after Alim Mammadov in the Khatai district of Baku has reopened after undergoing significant renovation. Mehriban Aliyeva, First Vice-President of the Republic of Azerbaijan and President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, visited the newly renovated facility alongside her family.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, Liya Majidova, the principal of the kindergarten, provided a briefing to the First Vice-President and her family about the renovation process. The kindergarten-nursery, originally constructed in 1958, had deteriorated over the years, necessitating comprehensive repairs. Under the directives of Mehriban Aliyeva, the facility has been modernized to align with contemporary standards.
The facility now accommodates 100 children across five groups and is fully equipped with necessary supplies. In addition to the internal renovations, the yard has seen landscaping and greening efforts, complemented by the establishment of a children’s playground.
