Moscow: Contacts between Moscow and Washington have intensified amid Kyiv's threats and Russia's warning about a possible response, which resulted in a ceasefire agreement, said Russian Presidential Aide for International Affairs Yuri Ushakov. Ushakov emphasized that the majority of world capitals reacted with understanding to Moscow's warnings in response to Kyiv's threats.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Ushakov clarified that no strike was carried out on Red Square. He also stated that no massive retaliatory missile strike was launched against Kyiv.
Yesterday, at the initiative of U.S. President Donald Trump, an agreement was reached between Russia and Ukraine to extend the ceasefire until May 11. This agreement also includes a prisoner exchange in a '1,000 for 1,000' format.
