Jabrayil: President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva participated in the inauguration of Shukurbeyli village in the Jabrayil district. The visit took place on May 9 and included several key events, APA reports.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the head of state and the First Lady inspected the newly established facilities at the 360-seat school and private houses constructed in the village. They also met with the residents who are relocating to the area. As part of the ceremony, President Aliyev presented keys to the new homes to the residents.

Additionally, President Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva reviewed the ongoing construction of the 150-bed Jabrayil District Central Hospital. Following this, the president attended the inauguration of the 330 kV 'Shafag' substation, which is owned by 'AzerEnerji' OJSC, in Soltanli village of the Jabrayil district.
