Kuwaiti Gymnasts Share Positive Impressions from Int’l Ojag Cup in Baku

Ganja - Kuwaiti gymnasts Nabila Al-Karafi and Rayah Al-Gassar, who recently participated in the International Ojag Cup in Rhythmic Gymnastics in Baku, have expressed their delight and positive experiences from the event. In an interview with Trend, the medalists shared their memorable experiences and future aspirations.

According to Trend News Agency, Nabila Al-Karafi secured three silver medals at the Ojag International Cup - in the all-around, in the exercise without apparatus, and in the program with clubs among gymnasts born in 2013 (group B). Her compatriot, Rayah Al-Gassar, won a bronze medal in the exercise with a hoop among athletes born in 2013 (group A).

Al-Karafi spoke about the significance of achieving good results at international competitions, highlighting each tournament as a new stage and experience. She expressed her enthusiasm for the upcoming competitions in Italy, inspired by her success in Baku.

Rayah Al-Gassar, commenting on her experience, noted her enthusiasm for participating in the tournament in Azerbaijan. Although their training schedule was tight, she was impressed by the beauty and interesting architecture of Baku.

The second International Ojag Cup, held from November 10 through November 12, saw participation from athletes from 13 countries, including 325 gymnasts in individual programs and 21 teams in group exercises.
