Baku: Holding the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation Summit in Bishkek amid geopolitical changes is a very important event, Tolobek Beishenbekov, director of Kyrgyzstan's Insap Elim Public Foundation, told APA.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Beishenbekov highlighted the significance of the summit as leaders from 16 states convene in Bishkek to address their roles in a changing world. He emphasized the importance of discussions within the framework of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation, noting that it is crucial for each state to articulate its position on strengthening peace, take appropriate steps, and undertake joint measures.
Beishenbekov also stressed the importance for Kyrgyzstan to assert its own distinctive and worthy position, aiming to further strengthen its role and influence in the region.
