Kyrgyzstan Chosen to Host 4th CIS Games in 2027

Almaty:Kyrgyzstan has been selected to host the 4th CIS Games in 2027 following a recent meeting of the Council for Physical Culture and Sports of the CIS Member States on Cooperation in Physical Culture and Sports.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the meeting took place on September 27 and saw participation from representatives of Kyrgyzstan, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Russia, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, and the CIS Executive Committee.

The Council also expressed unanimous support for Bishkek's nomination as the "Sports Capital of the Commonwealth" for 2027. Additionally, Kyrgyzstan is set to assume the chairmanship of the Council for Physical Culture and Sports in the same year.
